General Terms and Conditions
All enrolments are subject to these regulations.
School Holidays:
The Sampere Schools will be closed on National and Local Holidays (Except for One-to-One Courses 5 to 40 lessons) and no compensation, price reduction, refund, credit, additional lessons or extension of the course will be given for lessons or days when the school is closed because of holidays printed in our brochure and price list.
Fees:
The course and accommodation fees should be received by Estudio Sampere not later than two weeks before the starting date of the course. Course and accommodation fees are calculated in complete weeks. Any part of a course week is counted as a full week, and three extra days, or more, of homestay/student room are counted as a full week. No compensation, price reduction, refund, credit, additional lessons or extension of the course will be given for a) services or lessons included in the fees and not used; b) late entry, absence or early departure from a course without formal cancellation.
Cancellation, Postponement or Curtailment of a Course:
An enrolment may be cancelled, free of charge, provided that written notice is received not less than two weeks before the starting date of the course. For cancellation received less than two weeks before the starting date, the first week is non refundable. An enrolment may be postponed, free of charge, provided that written notice is received not less than 4 days before the starting date. Estudio Sampere may levy some charges to cover costs due to last minute postponement. Acceptance of enrolment is made on the understanding that the student will remain for the duration of the course as specified in the enrolment. In the event of a student leaving before the end of the agreed period, course may be curtailed or cancelled, free of charge, provided that written notice is received by Estudio Sampere not less than two weeks before the new ending date of the course. If no notice, or insufficient notice is given, course fees must be paid for a minumun of two weeks.
Cancellation, Postponement or Curtailment of Accommodation (Homestay, Student Room, Apartment):
An enrolment for accommodation in a) homestay, b) student room, c) apartments, may be cancelled, free of charge, provided that written notice is received not less than two weeks before the starting date of the accommodation. For cancellation received less than two weeks before the starting date, the first week is non refundable. An enrolment may be postponed, free of charge, provided that written notice is received not less than 4 days before the starting date. Estudio Sampere may levy some charges to cover costs due to last minute postponement. Acceptance of enrolment for accommodation is made on the understanding that the student will remain for the duration of the agreed period as specified in the enrolment. In the event of a student leaving before the end of the agreed period, accommodation (a-b-c) may be curtailed or cancelled, free of charge, provided that written notice is received by Estudio Sampere not less than two weeks before the new departure date from the accommodation. If no notice, or insufficient notice is given, accommodation must be paid for a minumun of two weeks. Hotels are paid for the booked period and Estudio Sampere will not be held responsible for any refunds due to cancellation or change of accommodation.
Personal Data
Estudio Sampere S.A., which has its headquarters at C/ Lagasca nº 16, 28001 Madrid, Spain, being responsible for files which include personal data provided by you for processing, gives you the right of access, rectification, deletion or opposition. This may be done in writing, enclosing a copy of your national identity card, passport or other documentation confirming your identity.
The result and expected use of the data itself as well as how it is processed is to manage your inscription in courses and/or programmes in addition to managing and responding to requests for information about services offered by this business.
As such, Estudio Sampere can pass your personal information on to the other schools in which we run the courses or programmes which you have chosen and also, where relevant, to the managers of services chosen by you such as accommodation, transport and/or socio-cultural activities. This includes service providers and schools located outside the European Union (if the schools you have chosen are outside the European Union). By ticking the acceptance of terms and conditions box you are giving your free, voluntary and informed consent to the processing of your data. You also acknowledge that we have informed you about how the data will be used and, where relevant, passed on to our schools outside Spain as previously mentioned.
